I know this, trust me, I used to buy those wax bars, and it seemed that all my favorites would fade in scent in about 12-48 hours. But how many servings does that wax bar you’re holding contain? 8? And that’s usually just 8 servings of a scent that may be wonderful, but lacks potency. I know you’re thinking that the jar is $8 and your wax bar is anywhere between $3-$5 a bar. Okay, so this one is definitely my favorite! I’m a big time couponer - yes, kind of extreme - and I try not to buy anything unless it’s on sale or a really good value. So if environmentally friendly is important to you - and you don’t want to break the bank - our Sprinkles are a better choice for the environment. Which is better than straight up paraffin/petroleum products. But I can tell you that they’re a soy and paraffin wax combination. I’m not saying that the Sprinkles aren’t. I’m not saying that I buy into everything they say about traditional candles and wax, but I do know that most traditional candle wax is made from petroleum products. Most candles aren’t environmentally friendly. The only limit is your imagination! The scent is strong enough that you don’t have to warm them or burn them to get their wonderful scent! Let’s face it, those wax cubes and melts just can’t do all those things without you putting a lot of work into them.
I love the versatility of the Pink Zebra Sprinkles! You can put them in a warmer, you can make a candle out of them, you can layer a thin layer over a solid candle for a mix up in fragrance, you can put them in a little sachet bag and stick them in your sock drawer, you can sprinkle them in your cat box, you can put them in a salt shaker in your car for scent, you can leave them out in little jars, you can put them in favors for a favor your guests will want to take home. It’s important to respect your product, and Pink Zebra certainly does that with this packaging. I love this packaging, because it’s nice and you feel like you’ve got something of quality in your hands. The obvious way being that they could have used a plastic jar, or even just a small plastic tub that made it look like a wax melt bar. You know, there are many ways that Pink Zebra could have done this.
Each one comes in its own jar with the Pink Zebra logo and the name of the scent. I absolutely love the way Sprinkles are packaged. So now that I’ve given you the official spiel on the Sprinkles, let me tell you what I love about Sprinkles! What this means is that you’ll get a better scent throw, they’ll last 30% longer than traditional wax products, and are responsible, renewable, and sustainable.Īlso, if you’re like me, and suffer from allergy like reactions to fragrances, you’re also less likely to have a reaction (although keep in mind that this also depends on the chemicals used in fragrances). Sprinkles are Pink Zebra’s claim to fame! They are made in the USA from a proprietary blend of soy wax and paraffin wax to capitalize on the best performing components of each.
